Happy New Year! We awoke to the sounds of rain pelting the metal roof at the Byrne residence early this morning. As the showers abated around 11:00 AM, Martha captured this wonderful image of the clouds surrounding Black Mountain to the west.

By 2:00 PM, the skies had darkened once more and the rains resumed – can’t think of a better way to start 2017 than by seeing the desert get a well-deserved soak! We’ve even heard rumors of snow up in Sedona!
